End of Year Inventory
I think that oftentimes when the end of the year comes around, we are so focused on how different we want the New Year to be that we don’t take stock of what we’ve already accomplished. In such a materialistic and image driven society we only seem to preoccupy ourselves with being skinnier, richer, or more successful in our jobs.
But what about the blessings of the past year? What about the deliverance from a difficult situation last year? What about the grace you were given to get through the loss of a loved one last year? What about the new job or the raise you DID get last year? What about all of those steps that you did take last year to put yourself on track to reach your goals?
What about all of those things?
Aren’t they worth something? Shouldn’t we celebrate how far we’ve come just as much as we celebrate moving forward?
Oftentimes when we fail to recognize how far we’ve come, we get frustrated and overwhelmed at what lies ahead. But recognizing how far we’ve come causes us to have an attitude of gratitude and that is a great attitude to have in the New Year! When you are thankful for what you have already and what you’ve been able to accomplish, I truly believe God recognizes that and sees fit to bless you even further in the future.
So how is your end of year inventory looking?
What did you accomplish in 2014 that you are proud of?
What steps did you begin taking to reach your goals?
What difficult situations were you able to get through in 2014?

How have you grown?
Are you living each year great to achieve having a great life overall?
How’s your end of year inventory looking this 2014?
